My First Internet Marketing Event
Lee McIntryes Profit Max Workshop
By
Hey All,
Well, what can I say, just got back some 20 minutes ago from Lee McIntrye’s ‘Profit Max’ workshop in Manchester after a 3 and 1/2 drive and wanted to write to you give you a brief lowdown on an amazing 48 hours!
Where do I start? (this could be my longest post to date)
Well, I arrived early on Thursday afternoon in Manchester and spent some time with a good friend who was kind enough to
put me up for a few nights, to save on hotel costs!
A cheap skate I know, but hey, I wanted to make sure I had enough beer tokens
Before I knew it, it was time to head down to the Palace Hotel, to meet up with everyone for PRE-WORKSHOP drinks
I got a text from David Walker to say he was on his way down from his room. It was great to finally meet David after only speaking on skype all this time……..but as soon as we got initial hello out of the way……we headed to the Bar.
It was quite strange, wandering who you will meet, but before long, all of the faces you see on the Internet are REAL!
Funny I know, but before long, quite a group had gathered to share a few drinks…
Lee McIntrye
Jit Uppal
Matt Garret
Dean Holland
Dan Briffa
Rich Hill (MWA Student) He’s Tall!
Randy Smith
David Chamberlain
David Walker (obviously)…..
plus many other faces too! (sorry if I haven’t mentioned your name)
My first impression was what a great opportunity to meet these people, but more importantly, they
were interested in you and your business and how they could help…..amazing. over the next day I also met
John Thornhill and Dave Nicholson, which was great.
Any how, I could write alot about this, but there is so much to tell, that we will be here for weeks…..
but the important message here is that going to an event like this, you get to network with key people
and this will lead to future opportunities
All in all, I was Mr sensible and left the bar about 11.30, knowing just one more drink may cause issues in the morning!
OK, so on to the event itself
on the first day, it was time to see even more faces when we registered to grab our name badge……..
Sat there looking a bit tired was Alex Jeffreys, having travelled the early hours from Cardiff to get to the event..
plus managed to meet up with fellow MWA students Steve Wakefield, Mark Terrell, Paul Lear, Mick Fallon, Keith Purkiss, Marc Milburn and others from the night before….
It is well known that SOME Internet Marketing events CAN turn into ‘Pitch Fests’ where you have keynote speaker
every hour, who then pitches there product to you……….all in all you could easily spend $1,000′s at these events,
if your not careful
However, Lee’s Profit Max Workshop was exactly that a WORKSHOP………..no pitches, Lee’s DVD’s were there if you wanted them but these were not rammed down your throat, and TBH, if I had a little more cash, I would have bought one or 2.
Just to give you an overview, Lee’s workshop was quite amazing, packed with content, and really showing you how he built a $20k business into a $120k business in less than 2 years.
Lee, gave an insight into how he creates an automated system, what NOT to do (Profit Killers), how to get the
most you can from your product, and more importantly how to market it, generating thousands of visitors a month to your sites.
Sunday morning was real special, with Lee’s TOP affiliate ‘Jit Uppal, gave his first ever presentation, to tell us HOW in less than a year, he has become a super affiliate, building a list from 400 subscribers to just to over 28,000 subscribers in 12 months.
Jit is Lee’s TOP affiliate, and now earns $10,000 a month from Lee’s affiliate programme alone….some story, and great information.
Hey listen, I could go into so much more detail, but TBH, you will see from what I am about to do in my business, is going to change BIG TIME!
Attending Lee McIntyre’s workshop was a great experience, but packed with valuble, no BS and No Hype content
If you want to see everyone who was at the event, go over and watch the video Lee recorded live and posted live to his blog at http://www.lee-mcintrye.com
Another BIG plus for me, was the opportunity to network with everyone over a few beers, all the name’s above plus
plus many more! and I had better not forget my mentor Alex Jeffreys who always takes time to talk to you and genuinely gives you advice to help you.
If I have one thing to say, before sigining off for a few hours sleep………… if there is one thing that you should do to if youwant to accellerate your Internet Marketing Business ,and that is go to to an event like Lee’s, in fact go to Lee McIntyres NEXT event………….
You will not regret it, and I definately know that many long term relationships and opportunites will come out of this weekend.
Talk soon, leave a comment!
Sean

Hi Sean,
I really enjoyed reading your post reporting on your first internet marketing event.
I have yet to go to one and you certainly made a convincing case here.
I wish I could have been there with you. Meeting all the guys you mention and you.
But for me to go to Manchester is not that easy. I’m not in the UK or even Europe but in North America.
I look forward to see the change in your business you touched on.
Perhaps I can learn things you picked up at the event from you second hand.

Hey Vance,
Thanks for dropping by….I’m replying to you at 05.15 a.m. purely because I have so many ideas going around in my head from the workshop!
Appreciate it is difficult to get to an event here in the UK, but if you can, get together with some other students and go to an event in North America, you’ll be glad you did, but as I mentioned be careful it isn’t a pitch fest
but if it is, take the time networking……….. If not, I hope to see you in Vegas in February!
Take care

Hey Sean,
Great meeting you over the weekend and a well written overview of events!
There was a lot of ground covered wasn’t there?! It’s not possible to do it complete justice in a blog post because there was so much intensive learning going on (as well as some intensive drinking!
)
Just wish I’d have taken my camera and got some pics but there’s always next time and I think I’d had enough of being on camera after Lee “encouraged” us to talk on camera!
…well outside my comfort zone that, but glad I did it in hindsight!
All in all, great event, cool people and looking forward to putting all we learnt into practice.
Take care and speak soon,
Steve

Hi Steve,
It was good to meet you in Manchester, I had a great time and came away from the event with my head buzzing with ideas.
Great summary of the 2 days, reading this has the memories flooding back.
I really liked Jit’s session, and I think that was worth the money on it’s own. I can’t believe that was his first time at being a speaker, he was a natural.
I hope everything is good at your end, and you’re taking action?
Paul.
