My Internet Marketing Progress
The World Of List Building
By
Hey,
I wanted to give a quick update to how everything is going so far in January after my last post and revealing my Goals to you all!
I would have posted this last night, but hey, I had a power cut in the flat from about 20.00 hrs until 03.00 a.m this morning………. and I found it amazing how we take electricity for granted DAILY and once it is taken away from us, our world stops! Personally I decided on an early night, and hoped it would be back on on the morning
Anyway, here is an update of what I have been up to.
I started at the beginning of January to rewrite my report ‘Simple Steps To Internet Marketing Success’ and make it into a video report, I thought this would be easy……..and now it is finished it was, but it took me too long to get it finished because I wanted to have it ready in the first week of Jan. Anyway, it is ready now and available for download! It is only 12 minutes long, but I have added valuable information to it.
My goal now is to build that list! An area that I have neglected all of this time, not being focused on it enough, and my new report is one of the vehicles to build it!
Yesterday, I was chatting to James Howard, who I have got to know over the last few months, and he offered to email my report out to his list, which was great! A good start. Talking to James, he directed me on to a few other contacts, who I had and got to know via Alex Jeffreys Coaching Course, and they have also offered to help me out! David Walker and Paul Wilson, another great start.
From here, I got chatting to Gary Simpson online, not sure what time it was, but I know it was late in Gary’s part of the world (Australia). Gary is a student form Alex’s first coaching course and is one of the most helpful guys I know in the AJ forum and online, be sure to check out Gary’s Blog! Now….. Gary has agreed to also mail out to his list soon, on the condition I reach 1,000 subscribers by a certain date and in return, Gary will double out his email! I love a challenge, and I WILL achieve that goal by 27th Feb. There you go, I have made the commitment to make it.
It is achievable and yesterday, I added 15 new subscribers to my list, with some effort, and bearing in mind, my list is small now, but at 15 a day, I will be at 600 by the 27th Feb, so I need to crank up my activity and drive as much traffic as I can to the squeeze page to add at least double it to 30, which will give me 1,200 by 27th Feb.
So how am I going to achieve this?
Well, it is going to start with Adswaps, which I will document more on this week, adding my report to JV Giveaways, driving more traffic to the blog, oil rig hopping, article writing. Just a few to be getting on with
and plenty more planned.
I am documenting my progress for you each day, and will be producing all of this in a video, so will let you know what I have done and will be doing.
Until next time,
Sean

Hi Sean,
Gee, thanks for those kind comments.
Yep. That is the deal… you get to 1,000 (and I WILL take your word for it but – heh… heh… don’t forget I have eyes and ears and spies EVERYWHERE – LOL!) and I will send to 2,000. If you fall short – even by just ONE on 999 then I will only mail to 1,000.
I LOVE incentives. They get people ACTIVE. I set my own incentives. My entire office is full of charts and graphs and tables. I know where I am gonna be at any given day across a whole range of KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators).
If I told you one of my goals it would astound you how FAST I am gonna achieve that. I have my systems in place to manage it. In fact, I am a great one for systems coz I firmly believe that if you cannot measure it then you cannot manage it.
I will not wish you good luck Sean. Instead, I will wish you good management.

Hey Gary,
I have my plan to get there, and will do everything I possibly can to achieve the 1,000, 40 days, no reason why I shouldn’t so it. FYI, as a bonus to my free report is your Time In Motion planner, perfect for my report, hopefully you’ll gain from that too.
Keep you updated with the progress! I’ll try and stay underground, but I am sure you’ll find out
Take care

Hey Sean,
This is what it’s all about! Blogging with a set target to smash through and keeping yourself accountable to the rest of the world.
Until we spoke the other day I had no idea what a dire situation your list building had become, but that’s about to change dramatically over the next month or so!
It’s been amazing the way our little IM community have all rallied around to help you and you should see a difference in even the next few days.
I don’t think there will be any way Gazzman DOESN’T send out for you, the 1k target will definitely be achieved!
Speak soon.

Hey Sean,
Sounds like you are on the right track, Adswaps are definitely the best way to build your list fast, something I wish I had started doing sooner.
You’ve just reminded me that I need to make a post revealing my goals for 2010, I’ll have to get on it.
I reckon you’ll easily achieve your goal of 1000 by end of Feb, my goal is 2000 by end of March. I’m sure well both exceed those numbers!
Talk soon,
Paul

Hi Sean.
Tanks so much for der comments and yer’ right. Sean is great name t’be sure t’be sure.
Actually if the truth is revealed I was born in N.Wales but have lived in Australia since I was 3 years old and am an Aussie to the core.
Gazzman lives just down the road and only about 5000 kilometres away as the crow flies. For those who don’t understand how far a kilometre is, it’s the same distance as a kilometer which is 1 thousand metres…..Confused???
Anyway it’s great to see you doing so well and that the rest of the marketing with Alex community is backing you so such a degree. I only hope I can rally the same help when I reach your stage of development.
I’m having a major problem at the moment with the flexibility theme on my blog which has stopped any further development of my blog. I’ve posted about it in the forum and I’m rather desperate for some answers from the more experienced members.I’ve actually had to remove most of my widgets so the site is looking pretty bare at the moment but hopefully I’ll find a solution soon.
good luck. I’ll be watching your progress with interest and hopefully learning from it as well.

Hey Sean,
Your absolutely right, the support you get from everyone is amazing and if you want the same, just ask, it is that easy. In respect of your Blog issues, there really is only one guy to help that immeadiately springs to mind and that s Matt Wolfe. I know he is Vegas at the moment, but try him.
Unfortunately, I do not have the expertise or technical know how
…….just ask, someone will help you.
Be good to stay in touch, we’ll talk soon!

Hi Sean,
I just watched you video and I think you did a great job.
You made very powerful statements all throughout the report, in a well structured sequence.
You’ve got an excellent set up for future works, congratulations!

Hey Sean!!!
Great to see that you’ve started to build momentum on list building!!!
It’s really great to see how the MWA community comes together, rallies round and helps each other out… It really is priceless!
Let me know when you’re next in Brum too… We still need to have that pint!
