Hey,

Well I got to start by saying, has someone putting the accelerator pedal down on my life at the moment, or spinning the globe a little faster?

Gee, it doesn’t seem that long ago that we were all making our New Year Goals and Plans and looking towards a fantastic year ahead, now a quarter of its already gone! lol but if your still working towards those goals then that is far better than giving up…….I hope you haven’t.

Anyway (one word) I digress………..you must be reading the title of the blog post and thinking, has Sean gone mad? Well no, in fact I have some very exciting news to tell you that happened only two weekends ago, something which I was so happy about, I couldn’t quite believe it to tell you the truth, but here goes.

Unless some of you have been hiding under a stone of late, you will have heard of Google Buzz right? No? Well if not check it out because this will benefit your business if you use it right.

Now I’ll be straight with you, I was not sure about it to start with, just another social media/marketing idea. As if we don’t have enough already with Twitter and Facebook to consume our lives, we now have another one!

However, I started getting more and more involved, and I added a few extra profiles to follow different people, very similar to Twitter and of Course Facebook. Now where Google Buzz is good, you have more of a conversation and get involved with a debate or discussion, you can even place your own comments up and not be restricted to only 140 characters. Now that is the brief of Google Buzz.

OK, so you’re wondering exactly why I was excited by the events of 2 weeks ago yeah?

Well simply I followed a discussion that was started by Mike Filsaime and other top Internet Marketers including Jeff Whelman, Liz Tomey, Doug Champigny and Omar Martin………..and the subject? List Building…………..pretty topical for me right now as you know, so I couldn’t help but get involved and discuss with these guys, including other marketers about the correct way to build a list of subscribers and my struggles so far, well not so much struggles, lets say experience.

Well, without going in to every major detail on this post and about Google Buzz, the information these guys shared was simply amazing!

I was involved in a conversation with Omar, Jeff and Doug, and they were giving awesome advice…………….which then spurred into an event I didn’t expect, which I will reveal shortly, but my initial thought was after being involved with the conversation, was to write a report on the whole event……which I have done!
