New Game Launches At Internet Marketing Event
Pass The Omar (Martin)
By
Hey all,
Now, if you are wondering about the headline, I will reveal all shortly (no pun intended) but what I am about to share is going to catch on…………
As you can probably tell, I have just returned (well last night in fact) from the LFmpire workshop in Bristol, UK.
All I can say it was an amazing weekend and if you have not yet attended an Internet Marketing Event
then you are missing a trick, you really are. I am still buzzing from this event, as everyone who attended would have been.
Bristol was my second event, and I need to go to more and if you haven’t attended one I’ll explain why.
Internet Marketing and making money online can be a lonely business. You sit there for days (and nights)
on your own, in front of a screen, wandering how on earth you piece everything together. The answer?
Attend an event make new friends and meet the ones you have only seen on your PC or chatted to on Skype, Facebook etc. It was great to finally meet up with fellow Alex Jeffreys students and my online support group (they know what I mean) Andy Michaels and James Howard. Now, if you ever make an excuse about an IM event being too far away, then don’t as Andy had driven 8 hours in the early hours of Thursday morning, from Perth in Scotland to be in Bristol for the event starting on Friday!
OK, the event was over three days, and I really want to tell you about every minute but you would be reading this post for days.
So, here is the reason why you want to go to an event like this. You get to meet many successful Internet Marketers, here is a list of the Speakers.
Omar Martin, Simon Leung , Jani G, Jonny Andrews (funny guy), Martin Avis and Sterling Valentine(really cool guy in a yellow tracksuit)
Would you have like to have heard there ways to make money online? Yeah thought you might.
Aside from the speakers, at an event like this, you make many new friends and future JV partners, many of which I will to stay in touch with for sure.
Now on to the headline of this post, if you have been to an event before, you will know that the biggest part of the weekend is networking, talking to friends and making new ones over a quiet drink (or two) lol.
So, as you can imagine, Saturday night was going to be a great night. That said though, Thursday was a great start, meeting up with Phil Henderson for the first time, a lively chararcter
and James, Andy and I attended the VIP dinner with all of the key speakers on Friday night, so every night was great gathering even more valuable information but this is where the title of this post comes into its own.
Now, you can imagine, the bar was pretty busy, chatting and sharing a few drinks with Andy and James of course, Alex Jeffreys who came over the water from Cardiff with his wife Katie, Omar Martin and his wife Melinda, Matt Garrett (good to catch up again Matt),Dave Nicholson John Thornhill, Jonny Andrews, Tony Newton, Dan Briffa, Paula Brett,David Chamberlain, Nikki Stephens, and more!
If you dont know, Omar Martin is a lively charcter and I am sure he wont mind me saying a light guy, I mean he weighs just 130lbs (sure that is what you said Omar) but anyway, as the evening went on Alex Jeffreys started the new phenomena, Pass The Omar (Martin).
I think this is going to catch on at every Internet Marketing Event that Omar attends !

Pass The Omar
The funny part was, as soon as Alex picked up Omar, you could hear others saying, let me have a go, let me have a go!
Sure enough, Omar was passed on as you will see………..

Pass The Omar Alex!
So when you are next at an Internet Marketing Event, be sure to build up the craze which is Pass The Omar.
If this catches on in any way, please post your pictures on my facebook fan page.
Just want to say hello to everyone else I met up with at the weekend. I haven’t listed everyone’s name here as it would have gone on for a while, but I hope we can keep in touch.
That’s it for now, I’ll be back real soon with another update and progress report as I plan to launch my first product!
Take care
Sean

Hey Sean,
What a weekend indeed man.
As you said it was great to finally meet up (cheers for the lift)
This was THE weekend for me, there was so many top markers and although you see there names online all the time you see them as kind of out of the ordinary and that you can only hope to be like them.
Nothing could be further from the truth though, they have been where many of us are and just put in the effort. With the contacts made this weekend and seeing that these people have done nothing special to get where they are gives you so much of a boost to break through and be where they are.
I would recommend to anyone to get to an event, if you can it will make all the difference.
Don’t think Omar will speak to you again after that picture though.
Talk soon,
James

Gutted I couldn’t make it, but sounds like you had a pretty awesome weekend
I will definitely try harder to get to the next one, like you say they are definitely worth the trip!!
Talk soon mate,
Paul

Hi Sean
I think the event was awesome!
Was great to meet you, Andy & James and everyone else to be honest. It’s funny you spend so long noticing people’s faces online but when you meet them in person they look nothing like their pictures!
And you’re right about attending events, although that was my first one I’ve come away with so many ideas and met lots of cool people who I can work with for years.
All the best
Tony
P.S. – Pass the Omar was very funny, I think that’s me at the back in the first photo stood next to Andy.

Hi Sean,
I’m a day late posting this. I was absolutely knackered after driving all night on Sunday night to get back. But I was so buzzing when I arrived home from all the info that I tried to get stuck into some work.
Well it lasted a couple of hours before I faded away. lol
But it was a terrific weekend.
Even by the end of Thursday night it had been well worth the long drive.
I will definitely be going to whatever events that I can in the future, no matter how tiring, as the relationships that are formed are the cornerstone of a successful IM business.

Pass The Omar – hilarious!
It was great meeting you over the weekend Sean, thanks to you & Andy for sharing some of what you had learned with me.
As an illustration to the others of what can happen at these events, I only popped over for a couple of hours to catch up with some of my friends – and didn’t leave till 6am in the morning.
The networking side of things is absolutely crucial to this business, it’s how relationships are strengthened and JV opportunities appear (plus of course it’s also a huge amount of fun).
Here’s to the next one!
Take care,
Nikki (PMW)

Hey, it was a great weekend, as usual. Cool to see that Alex brought a few with him, as did Chris Freville.
I found Omar to be a great guy, and have already added him to facebook.
Sean, just emailing the vital info over now, be good,
Pete

Hi Sean,
I couldn’t agree more about attending live events. I have been following Jani G & Jonny Andrews for a while now & they both said “make it your priority to attend as many live events as you can”. I must admit I’m not the most self confident person so was a bit skeptical about the whole event & what it would be like. Luckily for me I am also on Robert Puddys list who invited me so if it wasn’t for him I would still be going mad like many others. It was the best experience I’ve had in my IM courier. I’m still buzzing from it now. I have made so many contacts including yourself that have offered to help me. So if you read this make sure you attend as many as you can & I hope to see you all at the next one.

Hi Sean,
It sounds like you had an absolute blast. Did you get any learning done at all!
Internet Marketing events are awesome. I try to get to as many as I can as long as I find a babysitter. They are great for motivation, meeting people as well as learning.
I hope everything is going well. See you back here soon!
